Beside the world and our own darkness there alongside the light

Beginning or the ending 

...Because- despite everything- exists always within and around us--

For us to feel if we tune in. If we accept and are willing to see it alongside and within the cruelty and injustice around us. If, inside us, we are willing to allow its presence and one day accept and one day believe that self- and embracing us all around there exists infinitely....

I listen - as messages cross my path

Seeing Liberty Building, Durham city treasure, destroyed - all 2 x 2 blocks

I think of freedom

And it's opposite.

And the forms those take.

 

I think of layers of identity and history and of what this building was to people

I think of the layers of my own identity lost to this illness and finding who I am amidst the rubble. I may be stronger for it, but that does not make it easier.

For Liberty and similarly building being lost to bigger & better and people losing jobs or loved ones or parts of themselves. For them as for us let us LIVE GOOD.

Finding hope or creating hope, others look and hope exists in their gaze

Trees talk to me and I see me: here in this cacophony of vines, there in the main branch's bend, here feel the struggle @ the gloaming
